Finding treasure

I decided that on each day of my holiday I must do a job that I've been putting off. Todays was that I cleared out the space above my wardrobe. I found all sorts of things in there including an old notebook. I've just read through it and now I have more things in my Work in Progress folder. Actually there were a couple of ideas in there that I really like and I will be working on.
It is just a tatty old notebook but it was like finding something precious. It was full of things that I was thinking and planning at some point in the past and now I get chanceto develop them.

A very similar thing happened to me not so long ago. Now I've got around 15,000 words to show for it.

Go for it!

Good Luck! I found an old carrier bag the other day full of dust and packed with lots of copies of a story I wrote when I was 16!...at the time I thought it was fantastic.

I have worked this afternoon on one of the stories that I found unfinished in the notebook and it's nearly finished. I don't think its ended the way that it would have if it had been finished when it was started.

That's a lovely find. I've got a lot of notebooks with just a few pages scribbled on. But I keep buying new notebooks, hoping, I think, that I'll have better ideas.

Well, there's a story in that somewhere. The mysterious notebook, found at the back of the wardrobe containing a half-written novel. You could get a supernatural mystery out of that, then sell it to Take a Break!

I'll bear that in mind womag. I'dlove to sell anything to TAB. I just can't seem to interest Norah at all.
