This and that

Well that to do list isn't coming on very well. If you look at the numbers of the ten things that were on there I've done five which doesn't sound so bad but they are all the "easy" things that I have done. The larger jobs, teh ones that are going to require more actual work are still sitting on it.
Oh well the weeks not over yet.
I've prepared a couple of short stories for submission and it literally is just a case of putting them in the envelope and posting them. I think I'll be doing that tomorrow or Friday at the latest. The good news is that I've had no rejections this week but the downside is that I didn't get any acceptances either. I did receive an email from an editor the other day but it wasn't meant for me. I guess they had sent it to the wrong person - well I know they had. It was a very cryptic message.
My head seems a bit all over the place this week. I'm hoping to get that back together in the next day or two. Not sure what's wrong but then when did there have to be a reason. I just feel a bit unsettled. Hopefully that will be changed by the next time I pop over here.

I know that unsettled feeling so well Colette - so I think it probably happens to most of us. YOu take care - love to you and Georgiana who I think is gorgeous!

My 'to do' list never seems to get any shorter.

I think 'do lists' make you slow down. They make you think about what you have to do rather than you thinking about what you have done after you have finished. Make a list after you have finished and see how much better you feel....:-)

Good luck with your stories.

Don't beat yourself up. I write things that I've already done on my 'to do' list just so I can have the fix of crossing them off!

We all have weeks that we don't feel as if we've been very productive. Sometimes we try to hard.

You have to go with the flow. And if you feel unsettled, you won't be able to write anything of quality anyway.

I think some quality time out and chill out might do the trick.

take care

FP - georgiana is an angel isn't she.
Helen - do they ever?
Jarmara - thanks. Maybe that's my problem - I've been thinking about stuff too much.
BsM - What a fantastic idea. There's nothing like feeling that you've already achieved stuff to motivate you. reverse psychology - love it.

Thanks Suzanne. They didn't quite get done but hey ho! The important stuff did and I guess that's what's important.
