When moving water of that depth freezes over it has to be very cold - but it's beautiful nonetheless.

You are all correct it is gorgeous cold and surreal. Imagine it today then with snow on top of the ice. Amazing!

Oh yes Debs it is incredibly cold. I'm not at work today so I don't know how it is but I think that today is the coldest day ever. It is bitterly cold. Never mind it;s warm in here and I have a pot of tea at my elbow so it's not all bad.

It was yesterday Olivia although i do think we have a bot of a thaw going on at the minute so it might not be now.
