Rejig starts today

Remember that rejig of BTL that I said I would start in April and give yself 6 months to do? Well, alright, I know its not April but I'm starting it today and I am giving myself until the end of October to complete it. I don't anticipate getting much done before April though mainly due to a bungle on my part which means that I'll be working at my current job (apart from today and Sunday) until next Wednesday and starting my new job on Thursday. Also an appointment this afternoon means that I won't get more than an hour to look at it today. I just wanted to make the public commitment to doing it (hence the post) because I'll be more inclined to do it then. I still don't know where I'm going to find the time to do it but I will - from somewhere. I hear that sleep is very over-rated.

Now, now positive thinking is good for the soul, Colette. Just remember anytime spent on your book isn't going to be wasted time. An hour here and half hour there will all added up soon enough. Some time is better than no time at all.

It's good news about your new job.

Best of luck with your writing and your new job. :-)

Just reread your posting 'Stuff'. I feel my writing is going well, but I did have a panic attack as to whether I made the right decision about putting in for redundancy, but having said that I might had still lost my job anyway.

MMB came home to find me in tears... And 'OMG, what had I done!' He told me to have a good cry and get it out of my system. He said 'He had been waiting for me to go to pieces'. 'It's up to you, find another job or write?'

Putting it like that I've decided to 'Write' which is why took the gamble in the first place. I'm starting to enjoy myself and I'm keeping very busy doing all the things I love.

I'm glad you decided to keep your character, otherwise it wouldn't be your book or your story.

Good luck with your new future.

Thanks Jarmara. I'm glad that you are happy with the decision you made but like you said the same one might have been made for you anyway. At least this way you are doing it on your terms. I've just posted a report on how the first session of my tweaking went and I am happy with my hours work. Like you say, every little bit helps.

Sleep's definitely overrated - I never get more than 5 hours (which maybe explains why I roam the place like a zombie most of the time).

You can do this, Colette. And best of luck with the new job.

Suzanne - I too resemble a zombie from time to time getting as I do about 5 1/2 hours a night which I know is not enough. And, do you know what Suzanne, yes I can. I just need to believe in myself.
