Apologies from a bad blogger

I feel like I have been a very bad blogger recently and I feel the need to explain myself.
I have developed a bit of addiction. Luckily for me its just to writing. In the hours before bed time when I used to answer emails and blog I now write, in the morning with breakfast when I used to do the same I write. Its good because I enjoy it but it does mean that I have forgotten to do the other things that I enjoy sometimes.
I am concentrating on non fiction these days as some of you may know and I love the discipline of it. I really enjoy the research. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy fiction anymore just that I am concentrating on other stuff at the moment.
Anyway, enough of that.
We're now enduring our 7th day of heavy snow and frankly I am heratily sick of it. I didn't get to work on Monday and had a struggle to get there on Tuesday and Wednesday. Today is a day off but I have just heard that the person covering for me hasn't got in and so the place is closed. I haven't had the nerve to ring my boss and tell him yet. I'm looking forward to walking the dog this afternoon though because it is very pretty and he loves it. It is very funny. Having said that if it could all have disappeared by the morning that would be fab.

Good to hear the non fiction is going so well, Colette and that you're well and truly in the 'writing zone' now.

After the last few days of light flurries of snow, I woke up this morning to see Brighton covered in a fairytale blanket. I am still at the stage of looking out at it in wonder but give me a week of it and I'm sure I will be feeling as you do!

Yep, its okay for a day especially if you have nowhere that you need to be but after a week of battling through it I am heartily sick and tired. had to push my neighbours car along the street anout an hour ago and am now very tired. Might need a nap.

That's the best excuse of all for not blogging :o)

We've escaped the worst of the snow so far, but it's so cold I ache from shivering!

I'm sick of the snow, too, Colette. In fact, I'm still sick of last winter's snow, so I really didn't need this.

Glad the writing's going well.

Karen - count your blessings.
Suzanne - you and me both. I am sick of carting boots around so that I might stay upright.

Happy to report that the snow finally disappeared (almost) yesterday. Sad to report that the forcast says it will be back on Tuesday. Onwards and upwards FP.

I love the research that goes with non-fiction too. It's so exciting when you uncover something new - and I especially like interviewing people. - Best of luck with your non-fiction ventures.

We've been really lucky as we're in the 'no snow zone' here (or very little) I think we are the filling in the snow sandwich. Having said that I've probably tempted fate - as the forecast says it's on it's way!

Keep warm, Colette! x

Thanks Amanda - we've got more snow today but thankfully so far it seems to be too wet to stick which is a good job because there has been a lot of it.
You stay warm too - its a challenge but I'm sure we're up to it.
