...the beautiful city of York and I am happy to report that I had a wonderful time. Being a Yorkshire girl born and bred it is a kind of spiritual home and I feel so much better for bathing in it's glory for a couple of days.
Joanne - it is wonderful place - so full of history. Jarmara - I could bore for England once I start talking about the history of a place. Suzanne - thanks. Madeleine - I like this picture too. It was taken as we walked along a portion of the walls. Debs - you should go - you'd love it. FP - I feel fully rejuvinated. Karen - it is God's own county though I expect everyone says that about the place they were born.
I was born in Hull and brought up in Leeds so I've been to York many, many times. And my enthusiasm has rubbed off on my boys. We were up there last year. There's something very magical about it. xx
