Green around the gills

Why is it that I can never open an email from an editor without feeling sick - even when I know that it's good news.
PS Has the way that you insert links changed or is it just mine that's not working. Prtobably the latter but thought I'd ask.

Hello Colette. I'm a complete technophobe so I just call my daughter (age 13) when anything technical comes up.

When you are submitting your work, there is always that tension/fear of being rejected. I don't think that that ever really changes. It's highs one minute and lows the next.

I know what you mean! My heart used to sink but now not so much. So what news was it?!

Ooh, I know all about feeling sick when opening e-mails. Not nice at all.

These days, I get similar kind of nerves around responses/results from potential employers.

I'm not certain what you mean by links, but perhaps this would help?

I feel opening emails or letter from agents, publisher or editors with anticipation shows how determine you are to see your work in print. It comes with the job.

Good luck with all your writing project
