Money well spent

I sent a story to the Writers Forum Womans Weekly competition today and invested £3 in requesting a critique from Sue Moorcroft. This is a first for me. Not the competition, I've entered those before but the critique. I'm really excited by that. Even if I don't win (and obviously I am hoping that I will) I'm going to get some valuable feedback. I'm willing to bet it's the best £3 that I'll spend this week. Obviously I'll let you know what she says.

Good luck with the competition. Let us know if the critique proves useful.

I've just sent off for a competition that offer to do a critique too so it will be interesting to know what they tell us about our work.

Good luck and I look forward to reading what they say about your work.

best wishes, ((Hugs))

I saw a critique from Sue sent to someone in my writing group and it was excellent. £3 is amazing value for money. MsLexia (for example) charge something like £40 to crit a story.

Good luck with the comp!

Sue's rate does seem very reasonable when you put it like that womag.
I certainly will let you know what she says about my story. I'll even tell you the bad stuff.
