I subscribe to Writers News but haven't tried Writers Forum. Maybe I'll give it the once over. You're allowed to like both Annie but do you prefer one over the other?
Okay bossy... Writers News because I like to know what is going on in the world of writing. I get very shy when it comes to writing forums. To start with I find them interesting then after awhile certain names start to stand out from the crowd, then the 'in fighting' starts and certain members become upset and leave then it all dies down and members drift away.
So I like to drop by now and again and see what people are chatting about but not stay to long... So all in all Writers' news is my main like...lol
Definitely prefer WF these days. Writing Magazine (which you have to subscribe to to get Writers News) is a bit beginnerish and same-old (when you've been getting it for 5 years as I have). Writers Forum is new and fresh and vibrant.
That's interesting womag. I've only been with WM for a couple of years but most of the time I only read WN and skim through the magazine. I think I'm going to give WF a go. Sorry Annie, I didn't mean to sound bossy and I agree with you about forums. The same names do crop up and I've found some of them a bit cliquey.

Oh dear, do I have to chose?
I like both ;-)
Best wishes,
Annie

I go for both but subscribe to Writers Forum as its more geared for new writers.
Definately going to have a look at that then.
